Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx), OpenOffice, RTF or Google Docs format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text and references strictly adhere to the APA 7th Edition style requirements.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Manuscript Submission Guidelines
The Nexus Interdisciplinary Journal of Research (NIJR) welcomes original, high-quality research papers and review articles across all academic disciplines and interdisciplinary fields. Submissions must be completely original and not currently under consideration elsewhere.
  1. Formatting & Style
  • Structure: Manuscripts should generally follow the standard scientific structure: Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion, and References.
  • Format: Authors can submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx), OpenOffice, RTF or Google Docs formats.
  • Citation Style: All citations and references must strictly follow the APA 7th Edition guidelines.
  1. Ensuring Double-Blind Peer Review
    To ensure a completely impartial evaluation, this journal operates a strict double-blind peer review process. Authors must remove all identifying information (including names, affiliations, and acknowledgments) from the main manuscript file before uploading.

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This allows others to share, adapt, and build upon the work, provided appropriate credit is given to the original authors and the initial publication in this journal.
  2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.
